About Me
License # MSG008155
Hi! My name is James Ross, I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2012, a Registered Nurse (2006) and founder of Rooted Zero Balancing and Bodywork! I began my career as a staff nurse at Bryn Mawr Hospital, working with cardiac patients. However, over time the position became more about giving out medications vs. helping people heal and the 1:1 communication was less and less. This lead me to working with hospice patients, but again, as time went on, it become more about census numbers and not patient care. While working in hospice, I enrolled in massage school, at The Lansdale School of Business and graduated in 2012 (Formerly The National Academy of Massage and Healing Sciences).
After graduating in 2012, I began to realize that there is an important aspect to patient care and healing that is missing. The basic human need of “touch” has become less and less. Since we are an aging population the lack of “touch” has diminished are our own natural ability to heal. It was then, that I decided to devote my time and passion to starting my own holistic minded massage practice that incorporates Traditional Massage, Zero Balancing, and Myofascial Release.
My mission and passion is simple: I want you to hurt less, move better and have less neck, back and joint pain to enjoy your life! I Specialize in pain relief for ages 55 and wiser. I look forward to serving you and answering any questions that you have.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak! I have updated my polices! Your safety is my number one priority before, during and after your visit. Temperatures will be taken prior to each session and updated intake forms for new and returning clients must be competed. Sessions are by appointment only.
Tips are always appreciated, but referrals show your true appreciation for the work that you have received! For every three clients that you refer you will get (1) 60min session for 50% off.
Thank you and Be Well!
